1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy explains how Young Fit Life, operated by Melinda Young (“Young Fit Life,” “we,” “us,” “our”), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit our website or use the Young Fit Life Health Concierge (the “Service”).

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly:
  • Account details — name, email, and password.
  • Billing details — handled by our payment processor; we receive limited information such as your name, billing address, and the last four digits of your card.
  • Health information you choose to share — lab results, genetic data, wellness questionnaire responses, and messages you send us.
  • Communications — emails and support requests.
Information collected automatically:
  • Log and device data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to keep you signed in and to understand basic site usage.
  • Analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referring source). Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data on our behalf. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide the Service — including storing, reviewing, and responding to your lab work and questionnaires.
  • To communicate with you about your account, your results, and service updates.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To improve the Service and troubleshoot issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health information for advertising.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and only to the extent they need it for that purpose. These include:
  • Payment processing — Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment card information directly; we do not store full card numbers on our systems. Stripe’s handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy.
  • Email, CRM, and client communications — GoHighLevel (GHL). We use GoHighLevel to send account, transactional, and service-related emails, and to manage client contact records and scheduling. GoHighLevel processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
  • Health data platform — Biocanic. We use Biocanic to organize, review, and track the health information you share with us (including lab results, questionnaire responses, and related notes) so we can prepare your reports and walkthroughs. Biocanic processes this information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics (see Section 2 above).
  • Hosting and cloud storage
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition).

5. How we protect your information

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect the information you share with us — including encryption in transit, access controls, and limiting who can see your records. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Young Fit Life is not a HIPAA “covered entity” and the Service is not a HIPAA-regulated offering. Even so, we treat the health information you share with us as confidential.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our legal, accounting, and reporting obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your account and records at any time (see below).

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your account and associated records.
  • Export your information in a portable format.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

8. Children

The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18

9. International users

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to that transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, if the changes are material, notify you by email or through the Service.
